What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is an adventure game for people who have GPS units and enjoy a good hunt. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the GPS unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.  It is deceptively easy. It's one thing to see where an item is, it's a totally different story to actually get there.  Team C.O.B.R.A. wants to add sport to the hobby.  We try to create fun and unique caches with varying degrees of difficulty.  Some may require you to climb a tree and others you’ll need your climbing boots.  Some may simply require you to look down on the ground. Fun for all ages and a great way to spend an afternoon. Millions of people around the world are geocaching!  Why aren't you?
